Provision of Social Amenities
Provision of social amenities to make life more meaningful and bearable for the people of the LCDA.
Education on Policies
The LCDA educates the citizens on the policies and programmes of the local, state and federal governments and relay to the central government the needs of the people.
Registration and Issuance of Certificates
Registration of births, deaths and marriages and issue appropriate certificates.
Safeguard Lives and Properties
Maintenance of law and order through by-laws which are enacted to ensure orderly conduct, avoid breaches of peace and safeguard lives and property within the LCDA jurisdiction, The by-laws are enforced by security agencies.
Provision of Parks and Markets
Provision of motor parks and markets for the inhabitants of the LCDA.
Construction of Road Networks
Construction of feeder roads, drainages, culverts and urban streets.
